Construction consultancy Ridge and Partners has invested
£130,000 inweb-based knowledge management softwareto standardise and improve workflow practices.
Workspace from Union Square enables the company to store all
e-mails and scanned paper documents in a single repository for 250
employees in seven offices across the UK.
"This makes it much faster and easier to find things and gives
the multidisciplinary teams equal access to the latest version of
all project documents," said Roger Sandell, an associate at Ridge
and Partners.
The company chose Union Square because of its experience in
building and consulting and the ability of its software to automate
the process of assigning e-mails to various projects as well as
make the information available anywhere staff had internet
access.
