
Continental Airlineshas issued more
than 1,000security tokensto its staff and
business partners to help meet the demands of thePayment Card Industry Data Security Standard(PCI DSS).
PCI DSS is an industry-defined set of rules that regulate
cardholder data handling and transaction processing.
The tokens will help deliver secure remote access to
Continental's corporate network.
The airline, the world's fifth biggest, has enabled two factor
authentication to its network with the tokens.
"Prioritising the security of our network, Continental looks to
technologies such as the Aladdin eToken to meet important IT
security guidelines," said Andrew Dana, Continental Airlines' IT
Security Manager.
