Oracle has announced the acquisition of Moniforce, a
webapplication performancemanagement
provider.
Oracle said Moniforce's technology will strengthen the
capabilities of Oracle Enterprise Manager. This Oracle platform is
an application performance management system, which allows
application administrators to proactively detect and resolve
end-user experience and application logic issues.
The technology from Moniforce will give administrators more
in-depth
performance management information from an end-user's
standpoint, said Oracle.
Moniforce has existing customers in key sectors such as
financial services, retail and government. Financial details of the
acquisition were not disclosed.
