
Weekly web sales atDomino's Pizzahave reached an
all-time high, with last week hitting the £1m mark for the first
time.
The web sales came through www.dominos.co.uk and do not include
other current e-commerce channels such as mobile SMS and
interactive TV.
Robin Auld, marketing director at Domino's, said, "Last year,
web sales reached £23m in total and we responded to customer demand
by significantly increasing our online presence. We are delighted
to see that paying off with £1m worth of sales in a week for the
very first time."
In July, the company launched an SMS-based pizza delivery
service, registering over 2,000 users in the first month.
