Hard landscaping manufacturer Marshalls has deployed adata management systemto increase its storage performance three-fold and reduce costs.

By adopting a tiered storage strategy, Marshalls has a more detailed view of the data environment so that it can be moved and tiered according to its value throughout its lifecycle.

Marshalls went to comms integrator Affiniti to deploy an EMC data management system. The infrastructure enables Marshalls to remove prohibitive maintenance costs, increase storage performance three-fold, manage data more flexibly and efficiently, and provide rapid storage expansion capability.

The infrastructure can handle 54 Tbytes of data, and brings cost savings.
