StoreDatato create adata hubto enable information sharing
between departments.
The department, which has the responsibility of managing the
retail property portfolio of more than 750 branches and 20 regional
offices and support centres, said the data hub will underpin the
company's programme of departmental transformation.
Information sharing capabilities will allow the Business
Services Department to remove internal departmental information
silos and create a matrix-based organisation.
Steve Head, Nationwide's support service director, said, "The
hub will provide Nationwide with a single source of management
information across the entire portfolio: what is happening, how we
are performing and what corrective action we need to take. "It will
also provide the sole repository for all record information and
legislative documentation."
