Online fashion retailer, Net-A-Porter has expanded its
use of the open source database, MySQL, to improve searching on its
website.
Net-A-Porter had been using the free Community Edition of MySQL
for a number of years, and has now standardised on
MySQL
Enterprise Edition with a Gold subscription. This commercial
database package features production-tested software, proactive
monitoring tools, and premium support services.
The company has upgraded from the free version to the Enterprise
