Endsleigh Insurance Services is implementing Microsoft Sharepoint across its business to help it meet the requirements of the Financial Services Authority's Treat Customers Fairly (TCF) rules.

The FSA's TCF principles aim to ensure that the insurance industry provides customers with the best policy available at the time, and that the company can prove it.

"We can evidence the decision-making process and prove to the FSA that we are following its principles. Sharepoint has enabled us to communicate all decisions and issues related to a contract," said Peter Leahy, Endsleigh's head of IT.

Sharepoint will enable Endsleigh's staff to archive all information related to insurance contract sales to ensure they can prove customers got the best deal available.
