QlikTech, a provider of in-memory data analysis and reporting tools, has joined forces with Sirius Financial Solutions in a bid to improve users’ capabilities to analyse, report on and evaluate financial and business activities and to make more informed business decisions.

Sirius, a software provider for the global insurance and financial services product distribution chain, says it needed a solution that could offer improved visibility into the business to aid critical decision making. Sirius believes that it can now offer a tool that can better evaluate project delivery statistics, business spending, sales activity, and customer intelligence.

Commented Chief Operating Officer, Duncan MacMillan, “Previously, reports were generated manually and presented in packs.  However, the packs always prompted the business to raise more questions than they answered.  This was frustrating because it would take time, often weeks, to find the answers to these critical, additional questions.  As an analytical tool, QlikView [allows] us to search on almost any data about the business to provide more insight into how to best manage the business.”

Andy Honess, VP and Managing Director at QlikTech UK added; “Mitigating risk by effectively analysing transactional and business data to make informed decisions is essential to any financial company wanting to make a difference and stay ahead of the game.”

QlikTech UK claims that nine global banks have become users in the last ten months.
