ITIL system donated to child-abuse centre

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) has installedITIL-basedIT service managementsoftware to help it manage its technology resources.

The recently set up CEOP brings together law enforcement officers and specialists from children's charities and industry. It provides a holistic approach to tackling child sex abuse.

Axios Systems donated its assyst ITIL-based system to the centre, and Microsoft, AOL and Visa have also supported it.

The system will help the centre to manage its technology efficiently, implement best practice, and improve the center's business processes.

Jim Gamble, chief executive of the CEOP Centre, said, "I am delighted that we now have Axios Systems on board bringing more expertise and more cutting edge technology that will help us send out a very hard message to offenders - get help or get caught."
