Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK's
largest independent private client portfolio managers, has signed a
datacentre hosting deal withAtos Origin.
Brewin Dolphin has 37 offices around the UK and manages £21bn of
investments.
"In our business, we need to ensure high performance of our IT
systems 24/7," said Neil Bath, group head of information services
at Brewin Dolphin.
"Part of a cost-effective way of achieving this was to relocate
the hosting environment for our primary datacentre, enabling us to
ensure continued service to our client base, while also allowing
for future expansion," he said.
Brewin Dolphin recently adopted a
voice over IP system to
improve its network communications.
