Connecting for Healthhas published a
list of more than 100 companies to increase the number of IT
suppliers to the NHS.
Connecting for Health, which manages the NHS National Programme
for IT, is in talks with the suppliers.
The new framework agreements extend the access to IT products
and services beyond the three main contractors BT,
CSC and Fujitsu, after delays to core products lead to some
NHS trusts buying from suppliers outside the programme.
In March Connecting for Health published a
memorandum of information in respect of Additional Supply
Capability and Capacity (ASCC).
