Following a successful pilot programme, Glasgow City Council has agreed to continue funding local small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) attending a web training course run by Glasgow design and consultancy firm NSDesign.

The company designs products and services ranging from initial domain name registration and web hosting, to custom web development, ecommerce systems, internet marketing and training.

Eligible companies will receive 50% funding towards the course, which gives participants an understanding of whats involved in designing a website, including learning how to write effective content, search engines optimisation, and web accessibility.  Everyone attending will leave with a fully working, professional, accessible website, built using the NSBuilder system.

The next session (run over 2 mornings) has been confirmed as the 5 and 12 September 2007, with further dates to be released later in the year.
