Ordnance survey offers new slant on London

Ordnance Survey is offering a new view of London through oblique imagery (such as the picture above) for the whole of the capital. The oblique imagery system from Pictometry can be integrated with information in geographical information systems, enabling viewing, measurement and inspection of locations or properties from multiple vantage points.
This has applications for law enforcement, emergency response, planning departments, insurance companies and others in need of a detailed view of the elevation and surroundings of buildings.
