Sita, which provides IT business
solutions and communication services for the air-transport
industry, is integrating theCarTrawlercar rental distribution platform within itsSita Horizon portfolioofpassenger management systemsto help
boost airlines' revenues.
The Horizon portfolio is used by more than 100 airlines
worldwide, and the CarTrawler platform enables partners to supply
car rental in 134 countries at more than 12,000 car rental
locations across the world.
The deal allows Sita to offer the CarTrawler solution to its
airline customers, enabling them to realise significant revenue
growth through ancillary car rental sales, said Sita.
Typically, more than 4% of all airline passengers will rent a
car if offered by the airline on the airline website, Sita
said.
