Online lingerie firm figleaves.com is seeking a full
view of its supply chain with anSAPbusiness software
deployment.
Figleaves.com is using SAP integrator Chelford to install the
SAP
ERP system to better manage the way it deals with its 200
suppliers and create complete visibility throughout its supply
chain.
The SAP system is replacing legacy Sage and Navision in-house
systems to give the firm improved scalability and the ability to to
manage its growth.
Daniel Nabarro, CEO at figleaves.com, said, "A deciding factor
when choosing SAP was its commitment to organic growth in the SME
market, as opposed to other vendors who are expanding in this space
through acquisition.
"I was concerned about choosing one of those companies, because
I believe they will struggle to support the various different
platforms that they will need to."
Figleaves.com will be implementing SAP ERP to cover its core
back office functions, including finance and procurement.
Figleaves.com employs more than 220 staff and operates two
websites - one in UK sterling and one in US dollars - with
fulfilment operations in the UK, Canada and the US.
