The
Office of Government Commerce (OGC) has recruited top Shell
executive Jonathan Simcock to help improve its operational
performance.
Simcock, currently overseeing the largest global change
programme in Shell's history, will move to OGC on secondment with
effect from 16 July.
He will join the
Government IT arm’s board and will become executive director of
the organisation’s key Capital Group.
OGC acting chief executive Peter Fanning said, “Jonathan Simcock
will be bringing with him a wealth of programme management
experience, at a time when OGC is driving forward the culture of
best practice across major publicly funded programmes and
projects.”
