Indian outsourcer Tech Mahindra is creating more than 200 jobs in Belfast through a centre of excellence for business-service delivery.

The firm’s joint venture with BT has been supported by Invest Northern Ireland to set up the centre.

It will provide IT and business process outsourcing services to customers in Europe and the US.

Sanjay Kalra, president of strategic initiatives at Tech Mahindra, said the spirit of innovation is in abundance in Belfast. “Our Belfast centre will play a pivotal role in servicing and growing our client base in Europe and North America,” he added.
