South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough
Council are automating their information policy management
compliance withNETconsent
V4.
The contracts are the result of a software evaluation project by
the
Devon Information Security Partnership, which shortlisted
NETconsent as the policy-management provider.
Robin Barlow, a member of the Devon Information Security
Partnership and ICT Support Manager at South Hams District Council,
said, “We needed a solution that would meet our criteria to
effectively manage security policies, which has been very hard to
achieve with current manual methods.”
Devon Information Security Partnership was established in
response to the government’s call for local government to adopt
standards to comply with
ISO 27001 (previously BS7799).
