Leek United Building Society is reducing the time spent
administrating e-mail with a
managed service from Mimecast.
The financial services company has selected consultancy
Network Defence to implement the service which will to reduce
time spent on e-mail administration.
E-mail administration time is expected to be cut by up to 30
working days a year, which has freed up resources to focus on
internal development.
Peter Excell, IT development team leader for Leek United
Building Society, said the company wanted to maximise business
productivity while retaining security.
“Network Defence has delivered a managed service, which
provides the highest levels of protection against spam, but more
importantly, which has streamlined IT management by removing the
need for time consuming e-mail quarantine admin. This has helped us
achieve our primary goal of freeing up IT resource and redeploying
it to other parts of the business.”
