Lipsy, a UK fashion brand well-known for dressing high-profile celebrities, has selected BT to improve the management of its supply chain.

The move will enable Lipsy to increase productivity and the speed of its response to market fashion trends, whilst also supporting the business’ organic growth.

The BT Expedite sourcing product will provide Lipsy with online access to real-time critical information across the supply chain.

This will ensure any product specification changes are immediately available to all parties, from range planners through to the fabric buyers, then onto the factory, shipping agents and wholesale distribution.

Lipsy currently designs and sells its products in the UK with the sampling and production completed in the Far East, meaning that effective communication is imperative.

With a mix of wholesale business, concessions, online and high street expansion plans in the pipeline, BT’s system will help Lipsy to manage its complex business structure whilst retaining rapid feedback on changing customer demands.

Jeremy Stakol, managing director of Lipsy, said, “We have chosen BT’s [product] as it supports our customer-focused strategy, and will enable us to deliver the latest trends to the high street and our customers quickly and efficiently.”
