Cardiff, a division of Autonomy, has begun shipping Cardiff LiquidOffice Version 5.0. The new release provides mobile users with business process management capabilities. The software offers a way to enable end users to access e-forms via a BlackBerry smartphone, reducing the lag-time associated with decision-making steps.

The product is designed to simplify how business decision-makers can access and influence in-flight business processes. Process participants can now receive immediate notification of tasks that need attention; it can access forms and associated data instantly and digitally sign documents to keep the process moving with zero latency, all on a mobile device, said Cardiff.

This latest version aims to provide deeper visibility and auditability of business processes and user interactions, according to Cardiff. Additionally, with LiquidOffice v5, Cardiff said it has broadened the Web-based e-forms and paper document processing capabilities.
