Heatmiser UK, a leading manufacturer of heating control
products, has selected
SAP Business One software to provide a better level of service
to its customers.
Replacing two
best-of-breed systems from Sage and Herschel, SAP Business One
will provide Heatmiser with a single view of its customers.
The two old programmes were not integrated, which meant
information was re-keyed manually leading to inaccuracies in the
data and a poor understanding of customer activity.
SAP Business One allows customer accounts to be easily tracked,
resulting in a better level of support for customers.
Martyn Kay, director of Heatmiser, said, “Heatmiser looked at
both SAP Business One and
Pegasus Opera but we chose to go with SAP because it included
an integrated CRM and MRP module.
“We have just gone live on the system and expect our repeat
business from existing customers to increase considerably.”
Heatmiser is using SAP partner Signum Solutions to deploy the
system.
