Siemens Medical
Solutions and BT have signed a worldwide reseller
agreement for the provision of identity and access management
services to global clients.
BT is looking to use Siemens’ technology to fully take advantage
of its international market reach on client projects.
With
its DirX products, Siemens offers a fully integrated identity
and access management product suite.
Siemens is able to combine its DirX products, professional
services and technology into a complete system, which also includes
smartcards and physical and logical access.
DirX identity and access management also allows simple
integration with SAP systems, such as SAP Netweaver.
The products offered can be operated either on the customer’s
site or as a hosted variant at one of BT’s secure datacentres.
