Chester Zoo tames e-mail storage beast

Chester Zoo has implemented an e-mail archiving and management system to reduce storage costs and back-up time for staff e-mails.
The zoo, which is home to 7,000 animals, has so far reduced its e-mail storage by 30%, using Waterford Technologies' Mailmeter product.
As a research facility, the zoo relies heavily on e-mail and required a system that could cut storage costs and help it comply with data retention legislation.
