Construction industry equipment maker Fintec is implementing a £200,000 Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 CRM system to improve its operations.

Fintec, which makes crushing and screening equipment, went to Microsoft Dynamics distributor Watermark for the system. Phase one of the implementation is due to go live this September.

The system will support Fintec’s growth plans over the next three years. This year the company increased its production facility to 250,000sq ft.

Eamon Higgins, finance director at Fintec, said, “When it came to updating our IT systems, we wanted to maximise our existing investments in Microsoft technology. Choosing Microsoft Dynamics AX will allow us to do this.

“Selecting a Microsoft-based solution guarantees us access to a network of potential support partners, a development roadmap, and integration with our existing PLM application.”
