DSM, a worldwide pharmaceutical
and industrial chemical firm, has signed a worldwide IT services
contract with Atos Origin until the end of 2013.
The deal sees Atos becoming one of the preferred suppliers for
the global delivery of staff for IT-related projects and services
in domains such as SAP.
This side of the contract runs for three years, and also
includes business consultancy services, enterprise content
management, systems integration and infrastructure.
There is also a three-year contract for the delivery of network
services, including secure network access for users.
“Our collaboration with Atos Origin has been excellent over the
past year and we see IT as a critical support function for the
realisation of DSM’s strategy. These were the underlying reasons to
formalise our partnership in a Master Agreement,” said Jo van den
Hanenberg, CIO at DSM.
The value of the contract has not been disclosed.
