Linden Labs, the creator of virtual world Second Life,
has rolled out NetSuite financial and accounting software to manage
the accounts of users, who are increasingly converting their
virtual Linden dollars into real-world currency.
In January 2007, Second Life residents converted their Linden
dollars into approximately £2.5m. Zach Nelson, NetSuite CEO, is
enjoying a second life as an avatar on the website (pictured).
