The Ministry of Sound nightclub group has completed a pilot of an NEC 2000 IPS IP PBX as part of its plan to provide staff with unified communications linked into Microsoft Outlook.

The product will enable nightclub staff to chat over instant messaging, share documents without using e-mail and see who is available to speak by checking their presence information. The pilot will now be extended to support 120 users.
