Lisburn Council in Northern Ireland is working in partnership with Northgate Information Solutions to increase efficiency and improve customer service within its environmental services department.
Under a three-year contract, Northgate is providing Lisburn with its Building Control, Land Charges and Gazetteer applications, as well as a range of online, integration and mobile tools, to deliver flexible and responsive solutions.
The council said that partnering with Northgate would help it improve its environmental services to local residents through reducing administration, streamlining business processes and improving access to information.
Councillor William Leathem, chairman of the council’s planning committee, said, “We are providing staff and citizens alike with improved access to information to enable faster, more accurate and more efficient service delivery. We are working with Northgate to deliver these improvements in order to achieve the best results for our people.”
