Skype makes business VoIP easier to install

Skype has enhanced its business voice over IP service to simplify administration and configuration. Skype for Business can now be installed on multiple PCs using the Windows Installer (MSI) package. There is also an online control panel for allocating credits to users.

Ultra small PC comes with 4.5in widescreen

Sony Vaio has unveiled an ultra portable PC, the VGN-UX1XN. It weighs 480g and comes with 1Gbyte of memory and a 32Gbyte flash memory disc. The 4.5in widescreen display offers Sony's contrast-boosting X-Black LCD and it is illuminated by LED technology.

Trend Micro upgrades Worry-Free Security

Pay-as-you-go helpdesk designed for small firms

Helpdesk provider e-Warehouse has launched a pay-as-you-go service for its hosted IT incident management service. Aimed at smaller businesses, Oxygen SaaS Express provides up to 50 calls a month at £1 per incident.
