The French space agency plans to publish its UFO
sightings archive online early this year.
The Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) intends to release
a database of over 1,500 UFO sightings on its website in late
January or early February, reports Reuters.
The names of those reporting the sightings though will be
removed for privacy reasons.
Reuters said the release covered around 6,000 documents, mainly
reports made to the police or sightings recorded by airline
pilots.
The reports go back 30 years. Before Christmas, Google announced
a deal it had struck with Nasa to make available space images and
other information on the web.
