Vodafone UK has announced two acquisitions and a partnership tie-up with secure mobile working specialist Fiberlink to beef up its offerings to businesses.

The company will acquire Aspective, a consultancy and service provider specialising in mobilising enterprise applications, such as customer relationship management and field sales automation packages.

Vodafone has also snapped up mobile services provider Isis Telecommunications Management, which offers bespoke services aimed at small-to-medium-sized businesses.

The three-year tie-up with Fiberlink will make Fiberlink's Extend360 Mobility Platform the foundation of its remote access package for enterprise users. This will offer secure remote access to the corporate networks, with a single interface allowing connection via LAN, Vodafone 3G broadband, WLAN, dial up, Wi-Fi hotspot or broadband.
