Fashion retailer the Reiss Group is to deploy a new
e-mail system from Torex Retail.
The fashion firm has selected Torex’s Edict e-mail system, which
can operate either via the electronic point-of-sale system or
through a separate back office terminal.
The Edict e-mail system allows all communications across the
company’s 45 stores to be tracked, while a management reporting
function alerts managers to any outstanding or incomplete
procedures.
Steven Downes, finance director of the Reiss Group, said the
Edict e-mail module had been selected because it offered “a
scaleable and robust internal communications network, affording our
management teams the power of real-time reporting”.
Scalability is important for the fashion firm, which plans to
expand to 250 stores.
Downes added, “Edict will provide us with a highly
cost-efficient distribution method for all our management to
in-store communications materials.”
