Iridiacom has added a GSM gateway product to its
portfolio to take advantage of the growing use of VoIP within UK
businesses.
The Hertfordshire-based company is promoting the CelluNet
Gateway from IP Gear/Boscom, which allows users of SIP-compliant IP
PBX systems to make phone calls to GSM mobile phones at landline
prices. Companies can save around 40% on calls they make from
landlines to mobile phones, as all calls are routed through the
gateway.
Alan Doyle, managing director at Iridiacom, stated: “The
CelluNet gateway hits the market at the perfect time, as many
companies are taking the step into VoIP. This product ensures they
can keep the cost savings of being able to make a GSM to GSM call,
but from a VoIP system.”
Iridiacom has added CelluNet to its portfolio as a result of
high demand from its resellers. Doyle said: “Many of our resellers
have been asking us for such a product. Up until now, they have had
to use a VoIP gateway and an analogue GSM gateway to provide their
customers with a solution.”
He continued: “This gateway is a strong addition to the IP
Gear/Boscom range of products. It means we can now offer all types
of PBX connections, from analogue, basic rate, primary rate and now
VoIP.”
