Two neighbouring North Yorkshire authorities, have
joined forces to reduce the costs of implementing a customer
relationship management system.
Craven district council and Harrogate borough council are to
deploy Northgate Information Solutions’ Front Office CRM package in
a bid to deliver improved service to citizens.
Councillor Manuel Camacho, responsible for improving service
access at Craven district council, said, “By joining up with
Harrogate borough council we were able to pool our skills and
buying power so we could purchase the best solution for both our
communities - and saved a total of £100,000 in the process.”
The product provides a “one-stop shop” to support local
residents and businesses, and integrates with back-office systems
to give council staff instant access to information, and tracks the
progress of customer queries more effectively.
