Determining a potential security threat and minimising risk while maintaining confidentiality, integrity and availability of information is a key challenge faced by all public sector administrations.

The Information Security in the Public Sector conference aims to confront the issues and provide an insight, using case study examples, into how the public sector is dealing with information security.

The conference will feature presentations from the BCS, Bank of England, the Department of Trade & Industry, and the Police IT Organisation, among others.
