Potato supplier Naturally Best is installing a £300,000
Tropos enterprise planning system from SSI to help manage its
expansion during 2006.
The system will provide real-time information to suppliers and
customers of Naturally Best, which has grown by 60% a year since
2001.
Company secretary Mike Pledger said, "Our existing ERP system
was based on 'after the event' reporting, which meant that before
we could view meaningful information, we needed to complete
paperwork using the data collected. That was simply not good enough
for the kind of operation we have become."
