Fujitsu and SAP are set to announce the expansion of a
three-year-old sales and support deal.
The two companies will announce expanded global collaboration
related to the 2001 deal, including the start of new initiatives in
Japan and the expansion of Japan-only initiatives to other markets,
said Fujitsu.
Fujitsu and SAP signed a partnership in 2001 under which Fujitsu
would support the German company's e-business platform
mySAP.com.
The deal also involved support of mySAP.com on Fujitsu's global
PrimePower (Unix) and Primergy (IA) server platforms and made
Fujitsu the German company's first Asia-based global partner.
