(OSDL).
Yuji Inoue, senior vice-president of NTT, said, "NTT
Laboratories plans to use open-source software in enterprise
computing systems and various applications. Through these
activities we contribute to open-source software communities and
the integrity of the information-sharing society."

for telecom carrier IT systems, he said.

of 40% and 31% respectively from 2002 to 2007.
"Linux use in enterprise datacentres is growing quickly," said
Stuart Cohen, chief executive officer of OSDL.

and participate in the working groups, we can bring unmatched
resources and technical expertise to accelerate the adoption of
Linux in Japan and around the world."
