This week Hooman Bassirian takes over the helm of Computer
Weekly.
Bassirian is no stranger to Computer Weekly, having worked as news
editor on the newspaper from 1998 to 2000, and he brings with him a
keen understanding of the UK IT decision-maker's agenda. He joins
from our website ComputerWeekly.com, where he has been content
director for the last two years. Former editor Karl Schneider now
becomes editorial director of Computer Weekly.
"Computer Weekly has a long and proud tradition of award-winning
journalism," Bassirian said. "We have reported every significant
technology and business development that has shaped corporate IT in
the UK during the past 35 years. We are going to build on that
heritage.
"Our aim is to continue to satisfy the information needs of IT
professionals through Computer Weekly magazine and our sister
website ComputerWeekly.com."
