Online banking for up to five million users across Europe is
planned through a new venture between e-commerce specialist Brokat
and Scandinavian bank SEB.
The two companies have announced they will develop online
banking and online brokerage to five million end customers in five
European countries, starting with the UK.
Based on Brokat's Twister application, the banking service has
been designed to operate through the Internet, mobile and WAP
(wireless application protocol) phones, digital/interactive
television and PDAs (personal digital assistants).
