Best of VMworld Europe User Awards 2015: Shortlist announced
Find out who made the shortlist for this year's Best of VMworld Europe User Awards, which is set to take place on Tuesday 13 October at VMworld, Barcelona
The shortlist for the Best of VMworld Europe User Awards has been finalised, with commercial and public sector organisations among the technology innovators set to be honoured at the 2015 ceremony at VMworld Europe in Barcelona.
Hosted by Computer Weekly and SearchServerVirtualisation.com, the Best of VMworld Europe User Awards sets out to honour the operational efficiency, business agility and technological prowess demonstrated by a slew of organisations that have realised the benefits of making virtualisation and cloud the cornerstone of their IT strategies.
Our independent panel of judges were inundated with entries for the 2015 awards from across the continent, and details of those that made the shortlist can be found below.
The overall winners will be announced at 2pm on Tuesday 13 October 2015 at VMworld Europe on the Tech Talk stage in Hall 7.0, before receiving a certificate and having their project profiled in the weeks that follow by Computer Weekly.

- Milton Keynes Council and the Open University’s MK:Smart project - nominated by Arcserve.

- TLR
- St. Claraspital hospital – nominated by RES Software
Best private/hybrid cloud implementation
- Skipton Building Society – nominated by ANS
- Amatis Networks – nominated by Tintri
