Lenovo and IBM recall batteries

Domino's Pizza IT director Jane Kimberlin and her IT team distributed pizzas to hungry IT leaders at last week's annual Byte Night charity sleep-out on London's Embankment.

Lenovo and IBM are recalling 526,000 laptop batteries two weeks after one of Lenovo's Thinkpad notebooks caught fire at Los Angeles International airport.

The Lenovo/IBM recall coincided with an announcement by Sony of a general recall of all potentially affected batteries supplied to all laptop makers.
