The evolution of intelligent web services to cope with diverse information sources will be discussed at the annual joint lecture of the BCS and the Royal Signals Institution.
The speaker, Nigel Shadbolt of Southampton University's School of Electronics and Computer Science, will examine how artificial intelligence is being woven into the web and, in particular, how developments are likely to shape military intelligence.
The event is at 6pm at the National Army Museum, Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London, on 9 March. It is free but places must be booked in advance.
