He pointed to Tif's role in Microsoft's decision to defer the changes to its licensing programs as a watershed in Tif's evolution.
With members from more than 100 FTSE 500 companies, Mitchell said that a natural consequence of Tif's size was an increasing involvement in campaigns of this kind. He identified business continuity, pricing models, security and forming closer relationships with suppliers as the key issues for 2002.
