Personal finance website, moneyextra.com has launched a free on-line will writing guide for adult internet users in England and Wales.
Called Will Wizard, the service takes users through a 10 step process that requires them to answer a series of questions, list their assets and stipulate their intended beneficiaries. The system then collates the information and produces a simple document that becomes legal once printed off, signed and witnessed.
According to moneyextra.com managing director, Mark Bogard, Will Wizard as user friendly, fast and "ideal" for those who want to write a straightforward will "with minimal hassle".
"Less than one in three people have a will in England and Wales, meaning that the rest are taking the risk that their partners and other family members won't get the bequest they intended," he warns.
The company says it does not store users' personal information and advises anyone with complicated will requirements to seek professional legal advice rather.
