MTI cuts ribbons on third solution centre
Integrator MTI has announced the opening of its third MTI Solution Centre, which is based in Paris, France. MTI also has data centres based in Godalming, UK and Weisbaden, Germany. The third facility is designed to enable customers to prove and test VCE cloud infrastructures, including both Vblock 1 and Vblock 0, across several countries.

Thinspace ships with VMware View 4.5
Thinspace has announced support for VMware View 4.5. The thin client vendor said it has already shipped the virtual desktop platform to a local UK authority customer.

Content and Code help medical research firm Diamond Light Source
SharePoint specialist Content and Code have implemented a Microsoft EPM (Enterprise Project Management) solution for research facility Diamond Light Source. Based in South Oxfordshire, the company specialises in improving the lives of sufferers from serious illnesses such as Alzheimer's, cancer and Parkinson's disease. Content and Code decided to install the Microsoft solution in a bid to improve information management, in addition to improving collaboration and project management.

Overland Storage unveils Citrix Ready SnapSAN 2000
Data storage vendor Overland Storage has announced that its SnapSAN 2000 has been verified as Citrix Ready. The SnapSAN 2000 had to complete a verification process to make sure it was compatible with Citrix XenServer.

Verizon offers CaaS for SMBs
Verizon has started offering a cloud computing service designed for small and medium businesses. The Computing as a Service, SMB (CaaS SMB) is aimed at smaller companies with limited IT resources. The service runs on VMware vCloud Express.
