Virtensys bags ex-Intel executive
I/O virtualisation vendor Virtensys has announced that an ex-Intel executive has joined its board of directors. Mark Christensen held several engineering and executive positions during his 23-year-stint at Intel. In 2005, he founded a consulting company for technology startup Global Capital Management.

StepStone opts for TelecityGroup
StepStone Solutions has chosen TelecityGroup to provide its colocation and managed data centre services. StepStone has more than 1,500 businesses worldwide that use its Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings, including Lufthansa, McDonald's, and Volkswagen. The company will use TelecityGroup's Frankfurt data centres as its primary European facility.
Flexera Software announces updates to FlexNet suites
Application management vendor Flexera Software has announced the availability of its updated FlexNet Producer Suite for software vendors and FlexNet Producer Suite for high-tech manufacturers. New features include its FlexNet Publisher, virtual use detection, flexible monetisation options, and tamper proofing.
