Hosting provider Verizon Business' Computing as a Service platform has been certified by SAP AG. Ready for the delivery of SAP business applications, Verizon Business will offer SAP's entire portfolio, including business software applications, enterprise resource planning, product lifecycle, supply chain and corporate services.

PostCode Anywhere aids children charities with route-finding application
Cloud service provider PostCode Anywhere says the children's charities NSPCC and Child Line are utilising the company's AA Route Optimiser application to make routes faster to facilitate visiting more clients. Route Optimiser is accessible through any Internet browser and uses a list of postcodes to find the quickest routes. Michael Willis, an account manager at the Service Innovation Group, said he used to make six site visits per day, whereas now he is able to make 12 to 13.
